Divine Sparks, a whimsical story about the origin of the world, is a metaphor for the transformative nature of creativity. It explores Divine Sparks: how they are born, and how they are manifested in each of us and in our universe. As a father explained “Divine Sparks” to his young daughter: “This is a story about the beginning of the world, and how before it was created there was nothing, but in that nothing was possibility. And, that’s what you are: Possibility.”
Divine Sparks myth of creativity evokes a sense of iconic, archetypal and germinal essences (or possibilities). The tale unfolds as quirky, quarky states of energy are aroused by their emerging sentience. As these states of energy, or sparks, discover, the more they give to an engagement of self and each other, the greater is the creative exponent. In this way they get more big bang for their buck. Their eruptive paean culminates in an age of awakened collective consciousness.
Currently, I’m making Divine Sparks into an original, celebratory art video. Exploring a kinetic collage style, Divine Sparks intermingles a vast range of art. The vibrant effluence of color, dance, music, poetry and original art, will be woven into a JUMP FOR JOY celebratory art video.
