The "Cosmic Egg Mythologies" evolved out of an awareness that for our children to live in peaceful, life-affirming societies, they need new non-violent, life-affirming myths on which to be raised. Since mythologies are stories that imbue our culture with the ideals to which we aspire, I asked myself what our stories or mythologies would be like if we taught our children to have mutually-beneficial relationships with themselves, each other, and the earth. All cultures have a story of creation, so I, too, began at the beginning with a story of creation.

Included in this trilogy are a new creation story "Divine Sparks," a new first couple story "Under the Arbor," and a new ten commandments "Thou Shalls." These stories focus on the celebration of nascent life, and the sanctity of the life story.
